UF invitational: my last MAO competition of the year

Yesterday was my last MAO competition for the year. I wasn't that sad really seeing as I get to compete in the competitions again in algebra 2(i'll do better!). I got a 18 on the individual test which is the best I have done all year. I thought the test was a whole lot easier than the ones before even though I did only get a 18. James, the super asian for geometry got a 104 and got first place! he had to calculate his score 3 times. The first time he calculated his score he said he got a 103, then the 2nd time a 99, then the 3rd time a score of 104.
Team was so much fun. Before it started(which took forever! more like a half hour), we sat down in front of lincoln and katelyn and me were talking to peter and then we were determined to beat lincoln which was easy enough because they only scored once. We didnt get any points till I think like the 5th or 6th question. Actually, I should say, James didn't get the questions till the 5th or 6th question. I thought the team questions were easier too because I could actually do like half of them or get somewhere with like half of them! I was happy with myself and it was a good day yesterday b/c my math teacher wasn't chaperoning(which was really good after having to talk to her at lunch) and that katelyn was there. Anyways, we got 48 points in team which wasnt good enough to place w/ our suckish individual scores. With just the 48 points we actually beat Buholtz which was amazing.
The individual test was ok and went by fast. It took Katelyn and me and peter b/c his friends didn't wait for him so we dragged him along with us a little over 10 minutes to find our room for the individual test. The UF campus is SO confusing even though my sister who goes to UF says its just like a square(I say a very confusing square). Katelyn and me asked a dude at an information desk to help us find the building(he told us to go to the building where there are yellow structures that look like french fries, the structures didn't look like french fries). The dude also gave us a map and katelyn has it and said she's going to burn it. I acutally don't want her to burn it. wow, i'm getting very off topic. oh well. Anyways, peter is just being dragged along the whole time. It took us like 5 or so minutes to acutally find the building and then another 5 minutes to find the actual room. Peter sat between Katelyn and me during the test. I had a blonde moment which I will explain later. Before the test, peter wanted his 5 by 5 rubix cube which katelyn had put in my purse along with her cell and after lunch, her bag of chips. I had so much crap in my purse yesterday, it took me a few minutes to find anything. Anyways, as I was saying, I had peter's 5 by 5 rubix cube and he wanted it and katelyn got so mad that I actually took it out of my purse and peter tried to get it, but I didnt let him have it.
I had several blonde moments yesterday. I was having a day where I was being slow. I tripped probably 3 or 4 times and katelyn was behind me everytime I tripped and she laughed everytime. My big blonde moment was when my scantron fell(and we were in a lecture hall so we had the side desks) and so I went to go pick it up. As I'm bending over to get it, the little side desk thing goes down and makes a loud noise and I said really quietly or actually thought it in my head, "crap" or I said "s***". Anyways, all eyes pretty much go to me which sucked to. I just got my test and pencils that fell and went back to doing my test being embarrassed especially since the noise of the desk falling echoed off the walls too. After the test, Katelyn said that she heard two loud noises(I don't remeber hearing another loud noise) and she asked me if I made the first loud noise which I said yes.
The awards ceremony(i guess im going to call it that even though it wasnt that ceremony like) was amusing I guess, but Katelyn and me also were a little depressed b/c we thought we were going to actually to go up and get an award for team. We would have if the individual tests weren't counted too...we were like 2nd or 3rd place w/o individual scores. Before the awards 'ceremony' started, Diana and me were trying to determine what type of architeture the building was. At first look, we thought it was baroque, but then Diana who take the history of art and knows more about architeture, said it was romanesque or something like that. June sat next to me and was abusing Lisa's thing(im not sure what it really was). He stole it from her. I tried to get it from him a few times, but of course that failed. He was starting to annoy me a little because he was getting in my face with it and being his immature self. Katelyn and me didn't expect James to get 1st place in individual. I think Freed is happy that James got first place.
At lunch, katelyn and me met up with my sister. We had to help her pick out a gold necklace after eating. I told Freed before we left for the mall that I was meeting up with her and he said that we weren't going to the mall anymore. I thought it was kinda funny. My sister met peter and she asked him why he associates with us. The answer is b/c katelyn and me are awesome. My sister talked to Freed and other MAO kids.
On the way back, I changed seats twice. I moved to where kejing was sitting and talked to diana for a little while b/c katelyn got boring b/c she was solving the 5 by 5 rubix cube which she solved by the time we got back. Thats impressive. We both thought it was going to take her like a day or two.I was going to go back to my original seat, but june stole it :(, but i just went to sit where he was sitting. Diana, Sonal, William, and Kejing and me played MASH b/c we got bored. Yige questioned our maturity when they started destroying and messing w/ Lisa's thing. I officially have over 80 kids with 3 different ppl. On the way back, I was somewhat pleased with my results. Wow, this is a really long post. Sry thats its so long, but I think I have everything that happened yesterday in this post. I'm SO glad its spring break!!! I'm relaxing majorly!!!

i have no clue

grr,im getting sick and i dont like it! i left school early today, at the beginning of 5th period i went to the clinic and it took my mom till like 12:40ish to actually get to school. my throat hurts. it hurts more when i swallow so i think i might be getting strep throat(so not fun, i've had it multiple times before). It actually might be allergies too b/c im getting a little congested,but i dont know. i just hope i dont have to miss that much school.
anyways, with the help of kejing(i have to acknowledge you kejing) I became less confused about the AP applications. Right now, I'm aiming for 3 AP classes, I could probably handle 4 AP classes, but I don't know. The 3 AP classes I'm looking at taking next year are AP lang, chem, and APUSH. They dont seem that bad workwise. I mean I know there is going to be lots of work to do, but enough that I can handle it. anyways, I better go do homework and start feeling better...
